Essex Brownell, a leading provider of communication cables among other product lines, recently announced the expansion of its distribution center in McDonough, GA. The company had previously renewed its lease and increased the space from 25,000 square feet to an impressive 133,000 square feet, solidifying the location just outside of Atlanta as its primary southeast regional facility.

In addition to the increased space, Essex Brownell has also doubled its rack capacity to accommodate an increased inventory selection, including high-performance PureNet Reliable Category Cable Solutions.

PureNet communication cables are designed for CAT 5e, CAT 6, and CAT 6A network applications specifically for residential, utility and commercial applications. The brand has a comprehensive selection of fiber options. With the expanded distribution center space, PureNet can now offer an even greater variety of products and expedited delivery time to its customers in the southeastern region.

Craig Grant, National Account Manager for PureNet, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “The expansion in McDonough presents an exciting opportunity to better service our customers. Increasing the availability of the PureNet product line to that market will provide yet another exceptional option for high-performance network cables.”

This latest expansion not only provides ample room for increased inventory storage but also enables the company to enhance its hazardous storage capacity. As part of the ongoing development, a state-of-the-art 40′ x 40′ HazMat room is currently being built and is expected to be completed later this fall. This new addition is expected to be completed later this fall.
